Feedback from BBC Spotlight
Some of my video footage recently appeared on two editions of BBC Spotlight. Ever since I agreed with Glynn Hooper and the Cornish FA to film the county U18s football team, I have been keen to gain the widest exposure for them. So I was happy to give some footage away freely to the BBC when they got in touch with me.
When I make a video I generally ask for some feedback in order to help future prospective clients and develop my company;s credibility. It is always better to hear someone else providing a testimony rather than to read marketing blurb.
Andy Birkett, BBC Spotlight’s Sports Reporter got in touch with me on the eve of the 2017 FA County Youth Cup Final between Middlesex U. 18s and Cornwall U.18s fixture. The game was to be played at the Hive, Barnet FC.
This is the feedback that I received from Andy earlier today:
“I contacted Mark to see if we might be able to use some footage he had filmed of the Cornwall under-18 football on BBC Spotlight. He replied very quickly and could not have been more helpful. Mark readily offered to edit the clips we were looking for and sent the files over to us immediately. The quality of the footage was also fantastic.”

Rather than show the clips of the goals that BBC Spotlight used on last Friday and Monday’s editions, here is part of one of the two montages I put together for the Cornish FA. It is the 30 hour build-up to the game that I have compressed into around three minutes:
